Our Pastor:
Mike Halliburton is a native of Southeast Texas, born and raised, and a graduate of Nederland High School. Pastor Mike and his wife Tina were married in 1991 and moved off to serve our country in the United States Marine Corps. They are the proud parents of Amber Walker, husband Justin and their sons Elijah and Ezra; son Dillan Halliburton and wife Makaley and their sons Cohen and Elliot, and son Dallas Halliburton and his wife Tobi and their daughter Kensley, and son Dawson; and two young daughters, Trinity and Serinity. Near the end of his tour, Mike surrendered to Christ as the Lord of his life. In 1997 Mike answered Gods calling on his life to be a servant of God in the ministry. Pastor Mike served as Associate Pastor at New Covenant Church for 10 years before stepping up as the Senior Pastor. Its Mikes desire that he would be the vessel that God has called him to be. Growing up a pastors daughter, Tina has been a part of the ministry her entire life. Before becoming a pastors wife Tina led the children's ministry for over 22 years at New Covenant Church. Mike and Tina have been married for over 33 years. She works full time as an RN, but her call to be a pastors wife is always first and she feels it is truly an honor. "Preach the word of God. Purpose |
To feed the children of God as commanded and provide a safe harbor for everyone in need of His mercy and grace.
"Care for the flock that God has entrusted to you. To teach and preach the Word of God as it is intended and to be who God intends for us to be.
